You know how annyoing it is when you're driving on the freeway and some woman is talking on the phone and driving haphazardly? I'm afraid that may have been me tonight, folks. And I don't even think I was on the phone. O dear. It was just a rough night for my driving skills. I felt like the little old lady whose family shouldn't let her drive any more. O well. I guess I'll be a little more sympathetic the next time I see that crazy lady on the cell phone.
Luke had his flu shot today. He didn't even cry. He started to, but then stopped. He's such a sweet, good boy. I was so proud of him! Thank goodness he forgot about the stirrups at the end of the doctor's table (he had a hard time keeping his hands off of them last time), but this time there was an oxygen tank parked in the corner of the room. Luke cracked me up when he tried to move me out of the way (I positioned myself firmly in front of it).
Chris flew back to Louisville tonight after being in Philadelphia for ETS for four nights. Boy, was Luke glad to see his Daddy! (Me too.) He's been itching for some wrestling and "man play" these last few days. Sometimes he's just so hyper, and I can tell just wants to rough-house. He got to stay up late until 9:00 so he could play with Chris. What a goofy kid he is. Example: This pictures shows Luke and his RED belly. Why is the center of his belly RED? Because he got a cup of Crystal Light off of the kitchen table and dumped it on himself. It went through three layers of clothes and dyed his belly RED. Hey, at least it matched his one red sock. I had to laugh. :)

Katie,
What an adorable boy you have! He looks so much like you. I know what you mean about driving . . . I drive SO SLOWLY now that I'm a mom. What is ETS? Wow, that must have been rough to be on your own for 4 days. Matt is off to a conference in Canada next month for 2 days and I'm already fretting about it. Chloe is crying, must go.
Alicia
Katie,
Luke is so adorable. He definately looks like a Patz!

Sorry about the ANNOYING typo in this post. :)
It cracks me up how many people say Luke looks like me. I never saw it until I watched some old video of me when I was about 2. Scary.
ETS stands for the Evangelical Theological Society. We missed Chris a lot, but, I have to tell you Alicia, it does get A LOT easier! Since I'm with Luke most of the time anyways, it wasn't as hard as it would be when he was as young as Chloe. You'll make it!
Katie, I was wondering if you could e mail me your address for our Holiday cards. I love looking at your blog and I am amazed at how much you update it!!
