Give Me A Break

This afternoon, I saw a commercial for Nutrisystem. This is the "diet program" that basically involves you buying all of the food that you eat from this company. They mail you all of your meals. You don't measure, you don't count calories - it's all done for you. This is just another example of how American's have it all wrong. We want all of the benefits without any of the work. So, as I'm seeing this fairly thin and fit-looking woman talking about how Nutrisystem changed her life, something at the bottom of the screen catches my eye. It says, "Results not typical." Ha! Someone is making money out of this business, but I'm not sure how many people benefit.

KT,

I have a hotmail account so I see tons of banner advertisements like this all the time! I'm very thankful that these companies are forced to be honest about the results not being typical. I know it's horrible, but I wish I could just take a pill to erase this flabby tummy of mine. That's the american way - easy and convenient with no hard work involved.
