We were so blessed to be able to spend the weekend with parents. This was quite unexpected; my parents came to Louisville last minute for a funeral. Luke and I went to the funeral with them on Saturday; it was so nice to spend the whole day with them! Here are the few pics that I was able to take with them (my battery was dead at first). I just have to say, isn't my mom so beautiful? :)
The last two pics are of my boys doing dishes last night. What a smile my little guy has!

I thought that same thing about your mom as I looked at your pictures. She looks so young! I hope I can look that good when I'm a gramma. :) I bet Nony LOVED cuddling with Lukie. What a blessing to have some unexpected time with them.

David, Thanks for clarifying. I thought you were perhaps refering to my dad. (He's quite encouraged of late, because he thinks his hair is starting to grow back in.)
I have to say I honestly thought the same when I saw the picture of your mom. I love her hair. Those pics are so cute of Luke cuddling with them. Doesn't it make you wish that he could grow up near them...to think he's going to miss out on the experience of the Patz 'garden'. :)When we were up there, we had some squash with our lunch and your dad was so proud that it came from the garden. :)
Katie, you must hear this all the time, but your little Lukie is just absolutely darling! I LOVE his hair!
What a cutie cuddling with Nony! I think that my 3 ½ year old doesn’t even have as much as Luke! I love it!
