ONE Passion - GOD!

Today I was connected to a new blog: ONE Passion - GOD!! I knew Monty & Linda Kaufman when I was a kid. They were our favorite over-night babysitters, and later when I was in Junior High and High School, they were so gracious to me and spent quite a bit of time with me and my friends - all us faculty brats. I'm linking you to their blog because I'm asking you to pray for their family, in particular, Cameron. Cameron was born with some serious medical problems. His life has been a testament of God's sovereignty, love, power and goodness! He's 12 years old now. I remember when he was born. My bro Daniel was a close friend of Monty's, and when he got the call, he ran out the door like Ricky Ricardo when Lucy said, "It's TIME!" From the time I woke up the next morning and learned of the special needs Cameron was born with, our family has prayed for him. Cameron has a little brother, Clayton. Unfortunately, I wasn't a very frequent picture-taker when I was in highschool, but I did manage to find these pics of Monty and Clayton. The first is of Matthew holding Clayton when he was a baby. The others are from my HS graduation. Monty & Clayton surprised me and drove up to my graduation so Monty could be our family's personal videographer. :) The pic of everyone on the porch brings good times to mind. We've lost touch with the Kaufman's in the last few years. Finding this blog was a blessing to me. I'd thank Blogger, but I know it was Providential! :) Check out their blog to see pics of Cameron and read the latest specifics that need prayer.

Thanks katie for the blog link to the kaufman's. It was good to hear what all is going on in their lives and to remind me that they still need much prayer.

Wow, I about started crying as I looked through Monty's blog about Cameron. Remember how the docs all said he would never live that long? Boy were they wrong! Now that I'm a mom it just breaks my heart to imagine watching my child go through what Cameron's gone through. But amen, God is sovereign. No mistake made there in Cameron's life. Monty and Linda must truly know what it means to trust God. thanks dear, I will pray.

I also looked at thier blog and was really burdened to pray for them. Thier little guy has sure proven those doctor's wrong. What an opportunity to witness the greatness of our God!
