Thursday morning, Jenecia and Solomon came over and Marlaina, Mirium and Noah came to play too.

Two buddies, destined to become blood-brothers. (You know, where they scrape their wrists and rub them together. Hm, we better think of an alternative that doesn't involve bloodshed.)

Mama Neesh and her boy - Solomon was utterly fascinated by the fan and could not turn for a moment to look at the camera.

A group picture

Another group picture, minus Luke

Sol, hanging out - look at those cheeks!
Thursday night, the boys graced us with their presence for supper. Thanks for the pizza, Pastor Pat! (A small price to pay to spend time with his grandson)

Grandpa looks adoringly at his firstborn grandson. Awe.

What a happy (if tired) mommy!

An "action" shot. I believe David had just managed to pry the Sol's baby lotion from Luke's fingers. (The obession with lotion continues.)

3 generations of Griffiths men. Well, boys.

All smiles here - good times!

What a fun weekend! Thanks for sharing your pictures! Isn't it great to spend time with friends from way back?
ok, Pat and Dave are twins right? that's what I thought! :)
Awwwwww, that picture of Pat and Solomon brought tears to my eyes! I can't wait to show these pix to Matt. Isn't the fellowship of like minded believers wonderful?!? We really really really miss Pat's preaching and our friendship with him and Kirsten. Too bad Kirsten couldn't have come down too. LOVE Solomon's cheeks! You can really see the Griffiths in him, eh? Janecia looks sooo happy to be a mommy. Thanks for sharing these.
Sounds like a great weekend. I can't believe how much Dave looks like his dad now. Looks like the kids had as much fun as the Moms.
I think that's so funny that Caleb was at your house that night and with us the next day...they were exhausted, and somewhat disappointed to have left early, missing John MacArthur's preaching. He said that Pat sneaked whipped-cream on Sol's face :) what a good grandpa :)
Carissa - yes, Pat tried to sneak some whipped cream into Sol's mouth but got a stern reprimand from the Daddy. It was a classic grandpa move.
I noticed on your profile that Brent is working on his PhD. I didn't know that! What school is he going through? That's our next step, and I'm kind of excited about it, because it means it's our LAST step!
Looks like you guys had a wonderful visit and Luke looked like he enjoyed the company. :) He is such a cutie and so is Solomon. We have heard a lot of good things about the Conference.
Katie, Thanks for posting those pics, it was fun to see the Griffiths reunited and Sol and Lukie together:) I'm glad you had fun reconnecting, we would have loved to be there with you all!!!
great pics kt! thanks for posting some good ones of sol and neesh. good to see the griffiths clan. i'm sure if jenecia were in charge of the family blog we would be seeing more of them, but this will do. :-)
Katie - Great work on the blog. Good pics too of the Griffiths fam. Your little guy is so cute! Steven (Canfield) was also at this conference with his pastor Steve Hamach. Christy and the four little cans, came to FL. for some R and R. It was lots of fun. Steven brought back books for all of us. Love ya, Momma Jo-g
