Chris and I headed off to Nashville last Saturday for a much needed get-away and to celebrate many special occasions. Obviously, Chris' recent graduation from SBTS was fresh on our minds (since it was just the day before). It is SO exciting to be done with that tough degree! We also celebrated Chris' 26th birthday on Sunday, the 21st. There was no big party and not even a cake, but I think he had a pretty good birthday. Just being able to relax together in Nashville and stay at a hotel and not have to worry about ANYTHING was a special treat for both of us. I did sing Happy Birthday to him though. And finally, we will be celebrating our 5th wedding anniversary on June 2. These last 5 years have gone by so quickly, but they have been so full! We have lived in 4 states, gone to 3 different schools, gotten numerous jobs and had our first child! God's grace and sovereign hand in our lives have given us peace and joy along this journey. We look forward to the blessings God has for us in the next 5 years.
Go to katie's pics for more pictures of our trip.

yeah! I'm sooo happy for your getaway. You are a big part of his degree. I know what a sacrifice you have made for him to study and do what God has called him to do. So, I'm sure you enjoyed your time away soo much! Luke is a cutie-patootie. I bet your parents had such a great time out there. Take care. Great pictures!!
Congratulation's to Chris! Happy birthday, anniversary, and time away!
Your pictures are great katie. Tom and i love going to all that historical stuff too. It was fun to see all your pictures. Your dress looks great on you!
Happy Birthday to your husband.
Looks like you guys had a great time away together. The pictures are beautiful. I'm glad all your parents were able to be there for it. Annabelle is getting so big!
So glad you had a wonderful time away together. The pictures look great. I have a question. Who is Annabelle? She's adorable.
Tracy,
Annabelle is Chris' brother Jerry's daughter. Isn't she a cutie? I have a feeling after we move to MI (tomorrow!) I'll get to take care of her a lot! :) I guess then I'll have a taste of what it's like to have 2 kiddies.
