We have a picture on Chris' cell phone of the injury before the stitches. I'll have to show you that later.

Oh, Katie!!! That poor little guy. How is he managing a few days later? At least he'll have a cool scar- if he is anything like my oldest brother (not Rob), he'll tell girls that he got it in a knife fight (even though he really got his scar from falling while ice skating!). I realize those days are inevitable, especially with little boys in the house, but I'll take my reprieve while I have it. Congratulations for making it through and handling it well:)

P.S. Did Luke get a haircut, or is his hair just slicked back to show his injury?

Poor little guy. That must have been scary.

Ouch!!! He is smiling there, but I am pretty sure he wasn't earlier!! I have a scar in the exact same place. I feel hit my forhead on the corner of our piano...5 stitches too!

I hope he is feeing ok now and that it heals quickly!!

Oh,I'm glad he can still smile. He went from a baby to a little boy. I hope he doesn't continue to prove he is a boy. He has great parents and they don't need all that excitement.

katie, lukie is so cute. what a face... oh i miss him.

preston has been asking a lot about lukie lately. today he went with me to the store and he was rambling on and on about "is it time to go to cousin lukie's house? i miss cousin lukie. is it time for lukie's house?" when he has something on his mind, he doesn't listen for my answer, he just keeps asking the same question a hundred times. (oh well, at least his speech is improving.)

well, i am glad he made it through the stitches ok. it makes me thankful that i haven't had to deal with that.

love you,

janelle

If he is as boy as he seems to be...he probably already thinks those stiches and the cut are pretty cool...despite hurting some. he, he.

Hey Katie, Just had to say this is looking all too familiar to me. Sara got five stitches right before Chrismtas break from climbing on the shelving units in New York and Co. Looks like Luke is handling things just fine.:)

Ouch! That looks painful, poor little guy! He is a cutie, though. With or without the scar, he's gonna impress all the little girls. :)

Poor Luke! When Mom told me what happened to Luke I felt so bad for him. But he doesn't look like he's still in pain. what a tough little guy. Man, i wish he were here to help me clean the house. he always likes helping with stuff like that. Well, tell him hi for me. love you, april

Aw, poor little guy!! Thankfully I haven't had to experience that with Sam yet, but I expect it will happen one of these days! I'm sure it was even harder on you than it was on him! But as some others have said, he will no doubt be very proud of his cool scar when he gets a little older. :)

He's so cute, even with the stitches!!
