For those of you who care, sorry to keep you in suspense with my blogging silence since our Wheaton visit. It is not because we received bad news. We haven't received any news yet. We were told that we would hear the results of Chris' interview by March 1, so we should have some news to report soon. We are really just trying to stay realistic and somewhat pessimistic, in an attempt to minimize disappointment should we not be invited to Wheaton.
We had a great time with Jonny, Christine, Isaac and Noah. Lukie and Isaac played really well together; I don't think there were any injuries to speak of. This Thursday, we're on the road again - headed for our former home, Louisville! I can't believe I haven't been back to visit since we moved. We're looking forward to spending time with friends, but the original reason for this visit is for Chris to test and interview for the PhD program at Southern.
Enjoy these pics from our time with the Cummings!

Hey Katie, those pictures of the boys are so adorable. They look so mature in some ways. Looks like you had a lot of fun with them. We need to catch up some time. love you, april
looking forward to hearing the news!
THOSE BOYS ARE ADORABLE! sorry to shout! :) my pinky strayed on the keyboard! :)
Anyway, thanks for the update! Lukie's getting so big
Sweet boys:) Isaac enjoyed checking out their pictures together; I think he wants his buddy Lukey back:)
Christine - On the way home, Luke was sleeping and woke up crying REALLY hard. I asked him if he had a poopy diaper. He said no. I asked him if he had a sore throat. He said no. I asked him if he missed Isaac. He said, in a horribly sad cry, "Yes!!" It was pretty darn cute.
that is really cute katie. i am glad that lukie and isaac are really good budds. i am glad you all got to hang out.
we miss you and wish we could see you soon.
Katie! These pictures are great! It is nice to see two of our favorite families by visiting only one blog. By the way, don't feel bad about not knowing about my blog. I just started it last week. I posted a bunch on it tonight, so go check it out again=) The kiddos change so much so fast. love you, Jenecia
Looks like Luke and Isaac are bosom buddies. It's so lovably sweet how kiddos latch on to friends their own age! Chloe's already doing that with her fellow library story-time listeners. They play "rosy" and hug when they leave each other.
I'm so ansy to hear about Wheaton!!! How did Chris feel the interviewing went?
