Family Vacation to St. Ignace/Mackinac Island: Mid-July

Ok, this is not fair. I rotated all of the pictures in iPhoto before I uploaded them to my blog. Why did they upload sideways? Argh. Sorry, ya'll have to crane your necks again.

Here we all are - ready to go! This was our first real family vacation - just us, no extended family involved!

Hotels are so exciting and fun! Luke checked out the beds right away, and they passed his jumping test!

Another treasure of vacations - sleeping with Mommy!

The beautiful Mackinac Island Bridge. This sight will always be treasured by me; it's the last place I spent time with my sweet grandpa. God was so good to me to give me such a great lasting memory.

On the ferry ride over to the island. Luke loved riding the ferry!

Entering The Island. This shot was just too cute to pass up!

Family pic by the beach.

On the ferry ride back to St. Ignace.

Do you remember the surprise God had waiting for me at the beach on US2? If you don't, read about it here. This is me and my little brother - the first time I had seen him since late December.

After Luke figured out who this muscle-man was, he had fun playing in the sand and water with Uncle Matthew.

Last family picture on vacation - in the water of beautiful Lake Michigan.

These swings were out back behind our hotel.

I'm pretty sure this is the post with you and luke sleeping together. If not that's what I'm commenting on =) This last weekend I had the girls with me and we all slept on a bed together. I just loved having us girls all in one bed. its so cute to spend time with your babies like that.
