Profundities? A bit hoity toity
The whole process of setting up a blog is amusing. One is faced with many decisions to make - username? blog name? format? All of which will convey some sort of message to the 3 or 4 people that will read this. And, although I could be "Katie" and name my blog "Katie's Blog," I wanted it to be more interesting than that, and also make a statement of some sort. I was tempted to use the username "Luke's Mom," as that seems to be the hat that is stuck on my head for the majority of my days. Whenever I get to see friends and relatives, they are oh so happy to see Luke. And, well, don't forget Luke's Mom (me). So, in the end, I opted for boring ol' Katie. But "Profundities from Lukie's Mom"? We had to look the word up in the dictionary to be sure the spelling was correct. Here is what the dictionary said:
pro·fun·di·ty n
1. great perceptiveness, understanding, or knowledge
2. something requiring great understanding, perceptiveness, or knowledge
3. the intellectual complexity or abstruseness of something
4. the greatness, strength, or intensity of something
5. extension to, or location at, a great depth
Yikees! I do not claim great perceptiveness, understanding, or knowledge, not to mention intellectual complexity. I do love to write, and being Luke's Mom sure gives me lots to write about! When I suggested "Musings from KY," Chris said "Boooorrriiinngg." Anyhoo, profundities it shall be. If anyone has any to share with me, I'd really appreciate it.

Very cute blog, Katie. I look forward to reading about the "goings-on" of the Bruno family. Blessings
Ah Ah Ah David, Let's not go there ;-P
I enjoy reading the report, too. It′s easy to understand that a journey like this is the biggest event in ones
life.
