New Pictures!!
Check out my pictures from Halloween, Thanksgiving and more at katie's Pic's!
GREAT PICTURES! Luke sure looks like a happy little guy. How'd the Thanksgiving cooking go? Any good recipes to pass on? Luke was an adorable tigger. Did he enjoy halloween? The nice thing about having little ones at halloween is getting to eat their winnings. :) I really didn't want Chloe's first solid food to be chocolate . . . that was my excuse for eating her candy. Thanks for keeping your blog up to date. I enjoy browsing your site and check it a few times a week. You are a blogging inspiration! :)
My first Thanksgivng dinner went pretty well. I didn't pull anything fancy. I did make my own cranberry sauce, which made me feel like Betty Crocker. But, cranberry sauce is REALLY easy to make. And it seemed to be a hit. I also got a yummy recipe off of KraftFoods.com for a apple/cranberry salad.
I think Luke liked trick-or-treating. Unfortunately, one of the first houses we went to had a REALLY scary witch come to the door. Her mask scared Luke pretty bad. Also unfortunately, he is a chocolate-lover. He ate a little bit of candy. He would spot the candy bowl (b/c we hid it), then reach up toward it and wine/grunt. He definitely has a sweet tooth and his father's affinity for ice cream. Making sure your baby is eating nutritiously is easier when your just nursing or giving them baby food. :) Luke loves fruit and vegetables too though.
Katie - It's great to see all of your pictures and to hear how things are going for you guys. Luke is such a cutie and I've enjoyed reading your profundities!
It was great to talk to you this afternoon. It sounds like you and Karla are doing great. I have to say, when I first called and listened to your voicemail, it sounded so professional and all. I thought to myself, my word, we all really are growns ups now, aren't we? And I had a flashback of ourselves when we were desperate jr. highers. I'm just glad we can still be in touch, somewhat sane, and not in prison or something. :) Email me sometime at kbruno01@yahoo.com.
