The Hair Cut

Luke got a haircut again. His long curly locks are gone - but not for long! They will surely be back, and I will once again let them grow in all their glory. Sadly, we have neither found our cord nor bought a new one. Aughh! You will just have to envision my adorable son with short hair. It makes him look so much older, and his face seems rounder and kinda chubbier. He looked so small with all that hair around his face!

The worst thing about getting his hair cut is comments made by grandmas (who will remain unnamed) like, "Oh, he looks so much cuter!", "Now he looks like a boy!", and "I just love his hair short." If you are a grandma who has yet to make these statements, save me the inner turmoil. You only make me want to let it grow even longer!

P.S. Janelle, did you get any picks of Luke with his short hair? If so, email me one.

My mom liked keeping my brother's hair just a little long. Until school started...then he had to have it above his ears. Now he keeps it really, really short. =)

I love seeing Luke's flowing curls. Bummer you had to get his haircut. :( Does he like getting his hair cut?

Alicia: It's not too much of a bummer. He does look really cute with it short - the kid's just cute - with long or short hair. It has to be cut sometime - I don't want it down to his shoulders. :) He did pretty well while Jason cut it. He didn't LOVE it, but gummy worms did help. :)
