It's only 6:30 in the morning, but I've been up since 5:00. I was so snackered last night ("tired" for you Americans), I went to bed at 8:00. Now its 11:30a.m. in Scotland, so my body's a bit confused.
We had such a great time in Scotland, both working with the football camp & Holiday Club and also the sightseeing we were able to do. I journaled at the end of each day on our adventures and experiences, but that's all on our lap top which is still with Chris. The pictures are all still with Chris too, so you'll have to wait another week to see the amazing beauty of Scotland. We were able to do a good bit of riding around the country side, either by train or car. It's not uncommon to just drive past the ruins of an old castle or abbey. We also drove along the coast quite a bit - another beautiful sight. We really made our way around the country, and Chris will visit even more than I did. We spent the majority of our time in Ayr (on the west coast) and visited some nearby towns. Chris and I also spent the weekend in Aberdeen (on the east coast) and visited nearby Stonehaven and Cults. Today the whole group is going to Arran, a nearby Scottish island.
In a few hours, I'm heading to Mackinaw City to meet up with my mom, grandparents, Aunt Mary and Luke! We might spend some time on Mackinac Island, but I'm just looking forward to see my boy.
I believe that's all I'll say for now, lest I repeat my journals that I'll post when Chris gets back. I'm looking forward to catching up on your blogs. I believe I managed to get some Scotland dots on some of your maps, but I probably didn't get everyone. Our internet time was pretty limited, and there was always someone waiting for me. What are you all up to?
Have a good weekend - Katie

Welcome back- have fun with Luke!!!
Katie, glad you are back. And can't wait to see and hear about your trip.
As for what I'm up to? I am trying to finish 2 projects this weekend so that I can be done with summer school. Then I'll have a whole month off, before the fall. :)
Welcome home, KT! Although you're ansy to see Luke, I'm glad you got some alone time to recup a little bit. Take it easy the next week or so; jet lag often hangs around for awhile.
Not up to too much over here. Getting ready for a yard sale, Chloe's 1st bday party, and doing some part time computer work. Glad you're back!
Katie - Can't wait to hear all about the trip - I'm sure it made you eager to get back over there!!! Enjoy your "Luke and Mom Time" until Chris gets back - was praying for you all while you were there! Glad you made it back safe and sound! Sometime in August before school starts again for me, we all need to get together - Suzanne, Christina, you, and all the other "Detroit area" buddies!
Glad you made it back, Katie. I saw you little Luke a few times around here on campus. It always looked like he was having a great time with your mom and everyone else. I am sure it will be a happy reunion when he sees you!
Good to hear from you KT. Have a great time up at Mackinaw...such a beautiful place. And have fun with your family. I'm sure they are looking forward to being with you too...especially luke!
Welcome home, Katie! Hope you can get some rest with your family. You guys have been bouncing around all over for the last couple months. Sounds like it's time to catch your breath!
